This is a blood test to measure the concentration of hepatitis C RNA in the bloodstream.
Why do this test? This test is done in a person already known to have hepatitis C infection. It is usually done before starting treatment and then at regular intervals in order to find out how the treatment is working.
There is no need for an appointment to do the Hepatitis C Quantification (Viral load) Blood Test. After paying for the test online, you will receive a confirmation message with a map and directions attached. You can then go to Patient Reception at The Doctors Laboratory to give the sample. The laboratory is open 7am – 7pm weekdays and 7am-1pm on Saturdays.
