4 STI Vaginal Screen

The 4 STI vaginal screen checks for 4 of the most common STIs in women that can give genital symptoms like vaginal discharge. This is because gonorrhoea is better picked up in a vaginal swab than in a urine test. However, infections may be asymptomatic and the 4 STI vaginal screen is the best way to check if you have any of them:

• Chlamydia
• Gonorrhoea
• Mycoplasma genitalium
• Trichomonas vaginalis
  

Why do this test? 

The 4 STI vaginal screen is the best an all-in-one vaginal screening test for some of the most important STIs in women. It is most useful if you have genital symptoms and suspect you might have an STI, but can also be used as a screening test because many of these STIs can be silent and not give any symptoms. It is most useful when used as part of an overall STI check when it is combined with blood tests for HIV and syphilis.

Results:

Results take 2 working days * and will be e-mailed to you with a doctor's explanation. Treatment is offered when needed.

2. Receive an email with either a request form and the address of our London Wimpole Street location, or a booking link to schedule your test at another location more convenient for you.

3. You will recieve a text message notification when your results are ready. They will be sent to you discreetly by email.

4. In the event of a positive test result, we provide STI treatment if needed.

Treatment for positive tests is available by payment of a £30 prescription fee.

A prescription token is then sent to you by email and SMS. You can take this to any pharmacy and have your medication dispensed. Typical pharmacy costs for one antibiotic is approximately £10-15 but can be more for certain antibiotics.
