This is a blood test to measure the viral load in a person with hepatitis B infection.
Why do this test? This test is for a person already known to be infected with hepatitis B. It gives information about hepatitis B infection and response to treatment. High levels of hepatitis B DNA are associated with a higher risk of liver cancer.
There is no need for an appointment to do the Hepatitis B DNA (Viral load) Blood Test. After paying for the test online, you will receive a confirmation message with a map and directions attached. You can then go to Patient Reception at The Doctors Laboratory to give the sample. The laboratory is open 7am – 7pm weekdays and 7am-1pm on Saturdays.
