The 7 STI vaginal screen checks for 7 of the most common STIs in women that can give genital symptoms like vaginal discharge. This is because gonorrhoea is better picked up in a vaginal swab than in a urine test. However, many of these STIs might not give any symptoms at all and the 7 STI vaginal screen is the best way to check if you have any of them:
Why do this test? The 7 STI vaginal screen is the best an all-in-one vaginal screening test for some of the most important STIs in women. It is most useful if you have genital symptoms and suspect you might have an STI, but can also be used as a screening test because many of these STIs can be silent and not give any symptoms. It is most useful when used as part of an overall STI check when it is combined with blood tests for HIV and syphilis.
