The Essential Male STI Screen is a blood and urine screening test for the most common and serious STIs:

• HIV (1&2/p24)
• Syphilis (IgM/IgG)
• Chlamydia
• Gonorrhoea

  The Essential Male STI Screen is the minimum STI screen that is recommended to be done for men as in the latest guidelines by the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV.

  There is no need for an appointment to do the Essential Male STI Screen. After paying for the test online, you will receive a confirmation message with a map and directions attached. You can then go to Patient Reception at The Doctors Laboratory to give the sample. The laboratory is open 7am – 7pm weekdays and 7am-1pm on Saturdays.
